Pharaon: There is Hope in the Government, Youth Should Continue Defending Our Land

State Minister Michel Pharaon held on to hope which he sees "in the political, security and economic independence reached through the ministerial statement." Pharaon believes that the ministerial statement will lead to a national alliance government and then to a national unity government without giving up any right and limiting exclusive decisions-to-take, especially crucial ones, solely to the government.
Pharaon's speech during his sponsorship to a sports' tournament celebrating independence in the presence of some municipality members from different regions of Beirut showed positive indications, "there is pain and hope in our political life; pain is manifested in sacrifices especially during the independence celebration and in memory of those who have fallen last, but our youth should keep on defending our land to reach sovereignty, dignity, principles and freedom," said Pharaon.
