MP Samir Franjieh Advises Hizbullah to Reconcile the Lebanese
MP Samir Franjieh on Saturday advised Hizbullah to accept a settlement with the majority to avoid regional settlements that discuss how the party can be "sacrificed."
Franjieh, in an interview with Voice of Lebanon, said Hizbullah "should have an examining look at what is happening to its allies in Gaza."

The march 14 majority forces should make a final proposal to Hizbullah focusing on accepting constitutional rules, electing a president, and partnership with all the Lebanese factions at "various levels, decentralization and protecting our country."

"This is in Hizbullah's interests because what is being proposed on the altars of (regional) negotiations is how to sacrifice Hizbullah," Franjieh said.

He was referring to reported negotiations between Syria and Israel and a pledge made by the Israeli president that Syria cannot have the Golan Heights if it maintained relations with Hizbullah and Iran.

Franjieh said the Zahle crime of last Sunday aimed at halting the ongoing change in Christian alliances, which was started by MP Michel Murr in the Metin province and shifted to Byblos, Kesrouan and Zahle.
