Aoun: Those that are Neutral are Negligent; Those That are Independent at 2009 Elections are with March 14 Forces
The leader of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc Michel Aoun said that those that are politically neutral and independent are negligent.
He stressed that no majority members of parliament should be re-elected to parliament.

During a meeting of the 'Christian National Gathering' at the Batroun region under the auspices of Marada leader Suleiman Franhieh, Aoun said: "Those claiming to be independent at the up-coming elections are from (government) loyalists and are not independent at all. So I say to you work according to your conscience."

"Political money is plentifully present, think with your minds," Aoun added.

He considered that he has liberated political resolution at some Lebanese governorates and regions through the Doha agreement.

Aoun was asked to comment on his recent visit to Maronite Patriarch Sfeir at Bkirki saying: "At Bkirki we say the things we say everywhere, I told the Patriarch everything about my trip to Syria and that Syria won't return to Lebanon, that bilateral relations must be at the level of government institutions."

He commented on the issue of Air Force captain Samer Hanna that was killed last summer while flying his military helicopter over the Sujud hills in the south saying: "he is in my conscience we are quietly working on this and the case is being investigated."

On the issue of missing Lebanese citizens in Syrian prisons he said: " This is a tragic issue, the families have been heavily exploited. This is a thorny issue but it should be settled."

Regarding Gaza he said: " what is happening in Gaza now is a process to kill the resistance. This is a rejected and denounced matter. We hope to overcome the supply issue so that people can stand up to the aggression."
