Italy: Hariri Now Responsible for Writing a New page in Lebanese History

Italy has welcomed the formation of the new national unity government in Lebanon and said Prime Minister Saad Hariri will now be in charge of writing a page of peace in the country's history.
The formation of the cabinet is a "very positive and encouraging news for the future of Lebanon and the entire Middle East," Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said in a statement on Monday.

He renewed his "full trust" in Hariri and his "goodwill."

Hariri "will be responsible for writing a new page in the history of the country characterized by peace, stability and prosperity," Frattini said.
