Sarkozy, Abdullah Laud Formation of Lebanese Unity Cabinet

Saudi King Abdullah and French President Nicolas Sarkozy praised the formation of the new government in Lebanon saying it consolidates national unity.
The two leaders "lauded the formation of the new Lebanese cabinet which would lead to strong support and consolidation of Lebanese national unity," the Saudi Press Agency said.

Sarkozy arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday for talks with Abdullah.

Abdullah greeted Sarkozy late in the afternoon at King Khalid International Airport and the two then headed for the king's desert farm in Riyadh's outskirts, where Sarkozy spent the night.
