Qamatti: The Resistance's Strategy is Clear…We Won't Forfeit it Regardless of The Circumstances
Deputy Head of Hizbullah's Shura Council Mahmoud Qamatti said that Hizbullah's strategy is clear adding that the party won't forfeit it regardless of the circumstances, adding that the resistance body is not subject any modification.
During a celebration in Alley on Saturday Qamatti said: "all attempts made for ending the resistance in the region have failed. The resistance is more established and stronger in the field now, weakening the resistance is impossible."

He went on to stress that the resistance is capable of standing steadfast in imposing a new formula "that is why the U.S. and the west are attempting dialogue with the resistance is serious now."

Qamatti added that (Hizbullah) has to wisely face this new development to avoid any ploy.

He said that the Lebanese internal situation remains strained in conflict over two diverging political directions.

Qamatti added that the upcoming legislative elections are not the end of the world and would not determine Lebanon's fate "It is just an important political event."

"We are 100 percent certain that we would become the parliamentary majority, God willing with a simple increase in parliamentary seats. However, we also believe in the Lebanese consensus formula, we shall never abandon the idea of providing our political opponents the right to participate in parliament, we won't make their mistake in barring others from participation," Qamatti said.

He pointed that March 8 Forces in the next parliament would work on making the election law proportional to represent all political forces in the country.
