Fatah al-Islam Plotting to Kill Top Army Officer

Suspected Fatah al-Islam member Fadi Ibrahim, who was arrested last month, has reportedly told the Lebanese army intelligence that the terrorist group was planning to assassinate a top military officer.
Informed sources told al-Akhbar newspaper that Ibrahim, known as Sikamo, told the army intelligence that Fatah al-Islam was plotting to kill the officer during his visit to Sidon.

Military prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr referred Sikamo to the military examining magistrate on Wednesday.
