Egypt Advises Citizens to Avoid Agents who Smuggle them to Lebanon
The Egyptian foreign ministry has reportedly asked its citizens wishing to travel to Syria to abide by the legal procedures and not to cross illegally into Lebanon from Syrian territories.
Al-Mustaqbal daily quoted Egyptian foreign minister's deputy assistant for consular affairs, Mustafa Jundi, as saying that such a decision came following repeated incidents of arrests of Egyptian nationals crossing into Syria for illegal infiltration into Lebanon.

Jundi said Syrian authorities were closely examining the files of Egyptian nationals before granting them entry permits at airports, sea and land ports. He added that Syria has been arresting those who had violated entry regulations.

The Egyptian foreign ministry also urged its nationals not to fall in the trap of agents who promise them job opportunities in Lebanon.
