President, PM Approve Decrees on Promotion of Officers
President Michel Suleiman approved on Wednesday the decrees on the promotion of Lebanese army and security officers, a day after the green light of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
The decrees enter into force starting January 1, 2010, al-Mustaqbal said.

Following his approval, Suleiman traveled to Paris for a private visit along with the First Lady at noon Wednesday.
