A passerby was wounded when a bomb exploded on Friday at a garbage dump in the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, state-run National News Agency reported.
"The Ain el-Hilweh blast resulted from an explosive device that destroyed part of a wall on the side of a road and no casualties have been reported," Future TV said.
NNA said the blast went off in the al-Zif area in the camp near the vegetable market's entrance, leaving a man identified as Mohammed Adoukhi lightly injured.
"The situation in the camp is totally calm," NNA later reported.
Meanwhile, OTV said "a dynamite stick exploded in al-Bustan neighborhood in Sidon, causing no casualties."
In a separate incident, NNA said a bomb exploded outside three shops belonging to Mohammed Barakat in the Akkar town of Burj al-Arab, causing material damage.
But Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) said three people were lightly injured in the explosion, revealing that a bomb expert had defused another bomb in the location.
