Rossi Rules out Move to Juventus

Italian giants Juventus have suffered another rebuff as Italy forward Giuseppe Rossi ruled out a move to the struggling Turin club.

Juve have been searching for a marquee signing all summer letting it be known they were interested in Sergio Aguero and Rossi.

But Argentine Aguero moved to Macnhester City from Atletico Madrid and although Juve landed Mirko Vucinic from Roma for 15 million euros on Monday, a day later came the news that Rossi is not interested.

"I'm not thinking about (Juventus) any more, I feel good at Villarreal and I'm happy to be at this club," the 24-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I feel great here and I want to experience new satisfactions to go with those I've already had in previous years."

Rossi also moved to quash suggestions that in truth he had set his heart on a move to Juve and is disappointed at their failure to come up with the Spaniards' asking price.

"When I say I feel good here, I mean it," he stressed. "I've been at Villarreal for four years and I've never had a problem.

"I'm totally focused on the new season as are all my team-mates and soon we have the Champions League play-off to contend with and there's no need to stress how important that is."

Rossi joined Villarreal in 2007 after three years with Manchester United, the last of which was spent on loan at Newcastle and Parma.
