Gadhafi Vows to Fight 'Until Victory'

Libya's elusive former leader Moammar Gadhafi said he has no choice but to fight "until victory," in a message broadcast on Monday by Syria-based Arrai Oruba television.

In a statement read out by former Iraqi Sunni MP Mishan al-Juburi, who runs the television network, Gadhafi said "it is not possible to give Libya to the colonists again."

"All that remains for us is the struggle until victory and the defeat of the coup," said his statement, referring to Libya's new authorities.

Arrai television is the only media outlet still in contact Gadhafi, who has gone underground since forces loyal to the National Transitional Council overran Tripoli late last month.

In another exclusive aired on the television channel last Thursday, Gadhafi said that: "They have nothing else to resort to apart from psychological warfare and lies."

"We are ready in Tripoli and everywhere to intensify attacks against the rats, the mercenaries, who are a pack of dogs."
