Woman Who Singer Chris Brown Found in His Home Faces Charges

Prosecutors charged a woman they say broke into the Los Angeles-area home of Chris Brown and spent several days there before the singer returned with felony burglary, stalking and vandalism.

Amira Kodcia Ayeb, 21, was arraigned Friday and pleaded not guilty. A judge ordered her to stay at least 100 yards from Brown, though she was being held on $220,000 bail, according to a court spokeswoman.

Brown called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to report finding an intruder at his home in the city of Agoura Hills.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said in a news release that prosecutors believe Ayeb broke in May 2, and over the next four days vandalized Brown's house and cars.

She was represented Friday by a public defender, who did not return a call seeking comment.

A representative for Brown also did not return requests for comment.

Ayeb's next hearing was scheduled for May 21.
