Man Shot and Killed in Tyre
A man with a criminal background shot and killed another in the southern city of Tyre, reported the National News Agency on Sunday.
It said that A. Nassereddine shot and killed Hassan Mohammed Abdul Reda Daoud and his mother Fatima al-Shartouni.
Daoud was killed instantly, while the assailant managed to flee the area.
Security forces immediately arrived at the scene of the crime and an investigation is underway.
The state of the victim's mother and the motive of the crime were not disclosed.
