Sayyed: Wissam al-Hasan Was Supposed to be in Hariri's Car on Assassination Day
Brig. Gen. Jamil Sayyed uncovered that police intelligence chief Col. Wissam al-Hasan was supposed to be in former-PM Rafik Hariri's car on the day of the assassination Feb. 14, 2005.
Hasan "excused himself by saying that he has an exam, only to call asking to visit him (Hariri)," Sayyed told OTV.
He attacked Prime Minister Saad Hariri, describing as "shameful" his comments during Tuesday's Cabinet meeting.
