Jumblat: Mutual Understanding is Needed
Druze leader Walid Jumblat said a mutual understanding is needed among the various political leaders.
"Reaching understandings is our main concern," Jumblat said in remarks published Tuesday by the daily As-Safir.
Asked whether PM Saad Hariri has positively taken remarks made by Jumblat in Mukhtara on Sunday, the PSP leader said: "Hariri's main concern is maintaining calm and stability."
"This is what we are calling for."
Jumblat on Sunday said the best way to achieve justice is to uncover the truth behind the false witnesses to the murder of former PM-Rafik Hariri.
He also said that he wished there was no approval for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon which was established to try Hariri's killers.
