Palestinian Fugitive Arrested in Sidon as Suspected Extremist Held in Akkar
General Security intelligence agents on Thursday arrested Palestinian national Fadi S. near his house in the southern city of Sidon, state-run National News Agency reported.
NNA said the man had been in charge of the now-defunct al-Maqdesi Group in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh.
Separately, General Security agents arrested Lebanese national A. T. in the northern Akkar district on suspicion of belonging to extremist groups.
