Woman, Infant Found Dead on Roadside in Nabatieh
A young woman and her three-month infant were found dead on the side of the road in the town of Bfarweh in the Nabatieh district, the National News Agency reported on Friday.
NNA said the woman and infant were killed and that someone had thrown stones at their heads which led to their inevitable death.
The woman, a Bedouin, was identified as Halabiah Shukor and lived in the Zahrani area in south Lebanon.
Parents of the deceased have filed a missing person report with the police four days ago.
Investigations were opened into the incident.
