The Kataeb Party wants to guarantee winning seven parliamentary seats as a precondition for accepting an electoral alliance with the Lebanese Forces, a media report said.
"In a small and secret meeting chaired by MP Sami Gemayel, and after studying the electoral map, the secret leadership of the Kataeb Party, which is comprised of five members, decided to propose an agreement between the Kataeb Party and the LF," ad-Diyar newspaper reported Sunday.
Under the supposed agreement, Kataeb "accepts to get seven seats regardless of the number of seats that the LF would get," the daily added.
