Lebanon Registers 4th Death from Coronavirus, Total Confirmed Cases 133
Lebanon registered its fourth death from coronavirus, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
LBCI TV station said the deceased patient was the father of one of the monks who had returned from Italy, and that he suffered from chronic heart disease.
The deceased is the father-in-law of an employee at the health ministry who also contracted coronavirus presumably from her husband, according to LBCI.
The monk contracted the disease during a trip to Italy. He transmitted the infection to his family members.
In its daily report on the novel coronavirus, the Ministry indicated Wednesday that the total of laboratory-confirmed cases had reached 133.
It added that one death had been recorded. The deceased is a man in his 90s suffering from chronic diseases.
