Geagea Hails Approval of Appointments Law as 'Triumph'
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Thursday described parliament's approval of a law for administrative appointments as a “triumph” for the LF-led Strong Republic bloc.
“We have finally triumphed. A mechanism for the appointments of first grade employees, directors general and senior civil servants was approved in today's parliamentary session,” Geagea tweeted.
“We had struggled for its approval for many years,” he noted.
