Biden Invites Putin, Xi to Virtual Climate Summit
U.S. President Joe Biden has invited his counterparts Xi Jinping of China and Vladimir Putin of Russia to a virtual climate summit he is hosting on April 22 and 23, a State Department official told AFP on Friday.
Forty world leaders have been invited to the meeting meant to mark Washington's return to the front lines of the fight against man-made climate change, after former president Donald Trump disengaged from the process.
