Madfoo3atCom provides a centralized electronic bill presentation and payment (EBPP) service. Launched to the Jordanian market as a first step, it connects banks with billers (mobile, electricity and water service providers, among others) to facilitate online real-time secure bill inquiry and payment services through banks’ existing electronic channels.
According to Mr. Nasser Hussein Saleh, CEO of Madfoo3at, the company was established in 2011 with partnership and support from Oasis500, the government-backed Jordanian education and counselor driven seed investment program.
Its stated vision is to “become leaders in providing electronic bill presentation and payments services to a wide range of customer base within Jordan and the region.”
In terms of what Madfoo3atCom does:
- It offers electronic bill presentation and payment (EBPP) services to the local market using secure payment channels.
- It utilizes banks’ electronic channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM, IVR and Call Centers to provide EBPP services.
- It enables customers to view and pay their bills anytime and anywhere, thereby saving time, cost and waiting queue frustration.
Madfoo3atCom has already received regional recognition, including a top 10 finalist spot at the 2012 ArabNet Digital Summit and the Wamda Best Mena Startups of 2011’s “Best Use Of Technology” award.
