Ex-MotoGP Champion Stoner to Test Ride with Honda
Two-time world champion Casey Stoner will test ride with his former Honda team in Japan next week, fueling speculation he is considering a return to MotoGP.
Stoner will join Honda for a two-day test at the Motegi circuit aboard team's world championship-winning RC213V bike. He will have further sessions on August 6 and 7.
Honda has also confirmed Stoner will ride a prototype of its 2014 model in preparation for next season.
Stoner retired from MotoGP in November and has since been racing in the second tier of Australia's V8 Supercars championship.
The 27-year-old on Tuesday said testing with Honda will "allow me to enjoy what I miss, which is riding a MotoGP bike."
