جنبلاط يغض النظر عن ترشيح حلو والسعد للرئاسة

رفض النائبين هنري حلو وانطوان السعد ترشيحهما الى رئاسة الجمهورية، ما دفع بـ"جبهة النضال الوطني" صرف النظر نهائياً عم الموضوع، بحسب ما أفادت معلومات صحافية.
وأشارت صحيفة "الجمهورية" السبت، الى أن " رئيس لجبهة النائب وليد جنبلاط "صرف النظر نهائياً عن ترشيح النائبين هنري حلو أو أنطوان السعد بعدما رفضا الخطوة".
وأضافت الصحيفة عينها أن "ذلك قد تأكّد ذلك في الإجتماع الذي عقدته الجبهة عصر الجمعة في كليمنصو برئاسة جنبلاط وناقشَت خلاله السيناريوهات المتوقّعة ليوم الأربعاء المقبل".
وكان جنبلاط أوضح في حديث صحافي أنّه لن يعلن عن خياراته الرئاسية الآن. وقال "سأبحث مع كلّ الناس كيفية إتمام الاستحقاق، سيكون لنا في المجلس النيابي خيار انتخاب مَن هو الافضل في المرحلة الحالية، وكذلك لنا خيار الامتناع، وسنرى".
وأضاف: "أختار في الدقيقة الاخيرة بعد التشاور مع ضميري ومع شركائي، أتشاور اوّلاً مع الرئيس نبيه برّي وأيضاً مع تيار المستقبل وجهات أخرى"، وفضّل أن يكون هناك مرشّحون علنيّون وبرامج، خصوصًا اجتماعية - اقتصادية، سواءٌ أكان هناك ترشيح أو لا، وقال: "لا يمكنني أن أصوّت لشبَح".

Joumblatt's decision is a deja vu. His late father did same when Frangieh was elected. he won with one vote which was that of his late father. civil war erupted during Frangieh's term and I hope this is not a repeat to war.

Coolmec, given the current impasse, maybe the best way forward will be for another military man to take the seat of power, General Qahwaji. he is strong and has the army behind him, I think that civilians are not quite ready for the job yet but the military is a lot better poised.
