الجيش تسلم "اسلحة فرنسية متطورة" وعدد كبير من صواريخ "ميلان"

كشفت المعلومات الصحافية عن الاسلحة الفرنسية التي تسلمها الجيش اللبناني يوم الاثنين الفائت ضمن الهبة السعودية تضمنت أسلحة متطورة "لم يُكشف عنها لدواعٍ عسكرية".
فقد نقلت صحيفة "النهار"، الجمعة، عن مصادر وزارية قولها ان ما تلقاه الجيش من فرنسا من أسلحة ضمن هبة الثلاثة مليارات دولار السعودية "بلغ ما يقارب ثلث هذه الهبة أي ما قيمته مئات الملايين من الدولارات".
وأوضحت ان ما عُرض من هذه الهبة يوم الاثنين تضمن "عينة من هذا السلاح عبر صواريخ "ميلان" فيما تسلم الجيش فعلا أضعاف أضعاف هذه الصواريخ".
وأفادت ان الجيش تسلم ايضاً "أسلحة متطورة لم تكشف لأسباب عسكرية فضلا عن آليات وعربات مدرّعة وأنواع أخرى من العتاد".
الى ذلك، لفتت مصادر "النهار"، الى ان "هذه الدفعة تعطي الجيش إمكانات لخوض معارك عدة كما أن هذه الاسلحة أصبحت جاهزة للاستخدام على الحدود الشرقية عند الضرورة".
يُذكر ان الاثنين اقيم احتفال في قاعدة مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي الجوية بحضور وزير الدفاع الفرنسي جان ايف لودريان والسفير السعودي في لبنان علي عواض عسيري ووزير الدفاع الوطني سمير مقبل وقائد الجيش العماد جان قهوجي، جرى خلاله تسليم لبنان الدفعة الاولى من الاسلحة الفرنسية ضمن الهبة السعودية.
وفي نهاية كانون الاول 2013، أعلنت السعودية عن منح ثلاثة مليارات دولار للجيش اللبناني لتزويده اسلحة فرنسية، كما أعلنت الرياض في آب الفائت، على لسان رئيس تيار "المستقبل" سعد الحريري عن تقديم هبة بقيمة مليار دولار إلى الجيش والقوى الأمنية لغرض "مواجهة الإرهاب".

lol eagleyawn, so they got tons and tons of equipment, but they didnt show them at the official unloading ceremony and didnt announce them either because.... uuuh why exactly? afraid to make france or saudi look good?
and then they come and speak anonymously to the press to say there were hidden quantities because... uuuuh why again? i thought they couldnt say it, but now they can..? dude this sounds like a big mess and desperate way to make a pitiful shipment look like more than what it was.

you want the army to have real equipment, lol. Start by having your militia give some of the 100,000 rockets it has to the LAF, some of its drones, and artillery. When you do that, you will earn yourself an upgrade from sub zero credibility to zero credibility.
