سلمى حايك تطلق فيلم "النبي" من أرض اجدادها

أطلقت نجمة هوليوود اللبنانية الاصل سلمى حايك اليوم الاثنين من ارض اجدادها العرض العالمي الاول لفيلم الرسوم المتحركة "النبي" المقتبس من احد اكثر المؤلفات شهرة في العالم لكاتبه جبران خليل جبران.
واوضحت حايك في زيارتها الاولى الى لبنان برفقة والدها انها حققت "حلما قديما" بالمجيء الى ارض جبران، اكثر الادباء اللبنانيين شهرة ومؤلف الكتاب الذي يعد الاكثر قراءة حول العالم بعد الانجيل.
واضافت الممثلة والمخرجة المكسيكية التي شاركت في انتاج الفيلم خلال مؤتمر صحافي في بيروت "انها رسالة حب لارثي. اردت من خلال هذا الفيلم ان اخبر العالم انه كان هناك اديب عربي كتب الفلسفة والشعر وجمع الاديان والعالم اجمع وباع اكثر من مئة مليون نسخة على امتداد اجيال عدة".
ويعد الفيلم الذي يعرض مساء الاثنين للمرة الاولى في سينما سيتي في اسواق بيروت ثمرة عمل فريق من المشاهير يضم حايك والممثلين ليام نيسون والفرد مولينا وفرانك لانغيلا الذين وضعوا اصواتهم على الشخصيات بالاضافة الى كاتب السيناريو روجر اليرس مخرج الفيلم الشهير "الاسد الملك" والموسيقي اللبناني الفرنسي غابريال يارد اللذين يشاركان في اطلاق الفيلم.
يقدم كتاب النبي الصادر عام 1923 باللغة الانكليزية ويضم 26 قصيدة نثر ترجمت الى اكثر من اربعين لغة، شخصية المصطفى الذي يتحدث الى سكان مدينة اورفليس قبل عودته الى بلده الام عن مختلف جوانب الحياة: الزواج والعمل والصداقة او الموت. وتتحول اقتباساته الى اقوال خالدة على غرار "اولادكم ليسوا لكم (...) بكم يأتون إلى العالم ولكن ليس منكم" و"اذا المحبة اومت اليكم فاتبعوها وان كانت مسالكها صعبة متحدرة".
عرف "نبي" جبران شعبية كبرى اذ باتت اقواله تردد خلال مراسم الزواج والجنازات في الولايات المتحدة حيث كتب معظم مؤلفاته باللغة العربية والانكليزية وكان من ابرز مؤسسي الرابطة القلمية في نيويورك، اولى روابط ادباء لبنان في المهجر.
وقالت حايك "نريد انصافه" في اشارة الى جبران الذي على الرغم من الشعبية التي حصدها لم ينل حقه من النقاد الاميركيين الذين اعتبروا ان اسلوبه تبسيطي او وعظي.
ويشكل الفيلم (84 دقيقة) الذي عرض للمرة الاولى في مهرجان تورونتو السينمائي الدولي عام 2014 عصارة جهد عشرة مخرجين وتسعة منتجين من كندا وفرنسا ولبنان وقطر والولايات المتحدة حيث من المقرر ان يعرض الفيلم خلال الصيف.
واوضحت حايك ان الفيلم "شخصي" بالنسبة اليها باعتبار ان جدها "احب هذا الكتاب" الذي صدرت منه 163 طبعة حتى اليوم.
واضافت "كنت صغيرة جدا عندما توفي جدي وتعرفت اليه من خلال هذا الكتاب (...) الذي علمني الحياة".
وقالت حايك المولودة لام اسبانية والحاصلة على الجنسية الاميركية وهي زوجة رجل الاعمال الفرنسي فرانسوا-هنري بينو، ان اختيار الرسوم المتحركة لانتاج الفيلم هدفه ايصال رسالة "النبي" بشكل افضل الى الاجيال الشابة.
وزارت حايك الاحد متحف جبران في قريته بشري شمال لبنان حيث اوصى بأن يتم دفنه. وجالت في انحاء المتحف الذي يضم عشرات اللوحات والرسومات والمخطوطات الاصلية التي رسمها وكتبها الاديب اللبناني.
وعرف كاتب "الاجنحة المتكسرة" و"الارواح المتمردة" كاحد ابرز منتقدي المؤسسة الدينية والسياسية في وقت كانت منطقة جبل لبنان التي يتحدر منها جزءا من السلطنة العثمانية.
في فيلم حايك، يسجن النبي لان قصائده تبدو وكانها "دعوة للتمرد" ما يدفعه للقول "كلماتي هي اجنحتي". وخصصت حايك جزءا من جولتها في لبنان لزيارة الاطفال السوريين اللاجئين في منطقة البقاع (شرق) ودعم حملة اطلقتها منظمة الامم المتحدة للطفولة (يونيسف) لجمع التبرعات.

Why get Salma Hayek here and launch the prophet from here? I propose instead to start a fresh new war.
Lebanon should not launch movies. It should do wars and resist and do wars and resist. Please, anyone. A cause. Any cause. We can send our youth to die for it, and be glorious, instead of stupidly celebrating the writer of the second most read book on earth.

So Jibrans "the Prophet" is more read than the Quran that even non-arabs read in arabic? Not to forget the translations of the Quran in english, turkish, urdu, malay, french, german, bosnian and so on.
I'm gonna need to see proof for this statement that appears (at least to me) as far fetched.

Whyask, my memory still serves me right, Bachir only wanted a true Lebanon, a Lebanon for all the Lebanese, in which the Christian will be treated as an equal partner, as a citizen who would live in it without any form of complex. Bachir wanted a Lebanon freed of its ingrained sicknesses amongst which is the rampant and endemic corruption. Bachir succeeded in doing even if for only about a month, Lebanon was possibly at its very best. Just shows the kind of miracles we can make, when we are led by such great leaders. sad to say this, but one look at what we've got right now will just show how low we've reached, from the Olympian heights we enjoyed for a month under Bachir.

As usual the visit was covered by every Lebanese network, the Qatari Al Jazeera, the Saudi Al Arabiya but not by the Iranian Al Manar. To be fair, Salma Hayek was promoting Jebran Khalil Jebran's, a Lebanese cultural icon, book The Prophet nothing that should concern Al Manar culturally, philosophically or historically. If Hayek was promoting the Iranian film Mesih, a movie that denies Christ's Resurrection, Al Manar would have covered it as it would be culturally relevant to it.
