Aoun is against a law that would give 64 MPs to the Christians based on majority not proportionality because Hezbollah is vehemently opposed to any system based on majority vote. Aoun on the other hand supports Lebanon as a single voting district based on proportionality with is worst to Christian representation than the law he pushed in Doha and still has some posters about how it returned the rights to.. One way he could have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that he defends the rights of the Christians would've been by insisting Hezballs relinquish the post of Lebanon security chief stolen from the Christian during Syrian occupation, the pathological liar Aoun promised, but Hassin his master overruled and we have Abbas Ibrahim, I'm sure he's qualified but a Shiite not a Christian and that was Aoun's criteria.

FPM will always be an opposition party as long as Aoun remains active. He is always complaining like grumpy grandpa simpson, full of contradictions, and just as importantly has not given us a vision of what he wants Lebanon to be in the future. He is against corruption as long it is the other side; he claims to be against the confessional system, but supports the Orthodox proposal; He claimed he was against nepotism, but has several members of his family in prominent posts inclduding Bassil, Michel Aoun, and Roy Al Hachem. He pretends to defend Lebanon from foreign troops and comes back one of the biggest supporters of the country he was defending Lebanon against.

More or less, Aoun is a walking contradiction, wrapped in a enigma, and full of do as I say, not as I did, yesterday.
