Report: Hizbullah Dissolves Sidon's Resistance Brigades

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Hizbullah decided to dissolve its affiliated Resistance Brigades and to lift the cover off any member that breaches security, An Nahar newspaper reported on Wednesday.

According to the newspaper, the party's decision came in light of the increasing disputes between the members of the Resistance Brigades and the residents and parties of the southern city of Sidon.

The report pointed out that Hizbullah is “convinced that the Resistance Brigades in Sidon is tarnishing its image in the city.”

“The decision to dissolve it achieves more than one positive goal for Hizbullah,” the report added.

Salafist cleric Sheikh Ahmed al-Asir accused in June Hizbullah of using several apartments in Abra in Sidon to stockpile weapons and house fighters.

Al-Asir supporters clashed several times with the members of the Hizbullah's Resistance Brigades in Abra.

The Salafist cleric, a 45-year-old cleric who supports the overwhelmingly Sunni rebels fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad, is no where to be found after his supporters clashed in June with the army.

Officials in Sidon have been demanding Hizbullah, after al-Asir's battle with the army, to withdraw its resistance brigades members from the city.

This video is shameful and repulsive. This is what Nassrallah meant by protecting Shia villages. These are crimes against humanity. Injured civilians being executed on camera makes every human's heart ache. HA is the most horrible sectarian terrorist organization in modern history.

Of course HA is a secterian militia. Its presence in Lebanon is only to take power over the other communities and rule the country. This has started long ago, with Shia building over chrisitian land in the south suburb, in buying with iranian cash many of sunni and greek orthodox areas in beirut, such as zoukak el blat, basta, mousaytbé, mar elias, khandak el ghamik. HA uses the excuse of Israel to maintain its weapons. It baddly needs israel to justify its existence. Their fighting in Syria is that their existence is to give an overwhelming power to the shia in the region. Unfortunately, MR. Aoun has given everything to HA putting in danger the very existence of democracy and the presence of Christians in Lebanon.

Thanks Baniyæ for the link. I feel so sick after watching it.

God Bless the Islamic Secular Resistance aka HA (Hussain Army) for dissolving its sibling resistance brigade in Sidon and abiding by the law. This brigade fulfilled its objectives and subdued the insurgency in Sidon. Hence, its existence is no longer needed. However, the resistance's holy war in Syria continues unabated until victory is achieved over the Sunnis and their GCC backers. The legendary warriors of the resistance continue to execute so-called rebels armed with strategic and tactical nuclear warheads as the video above clearly shows. The resistance proves once again it is not sectarian and its Jihad in Syria is to protect the minorities. God Bless Sayyed Hassanallah and give him long healthy life.....

you ignorant HA, which am not defending anyway, do not act like that this kind or way of killing is against their "doctrine" n principle it is called 'haram' they make suicidal missions agaisnt israel that occupies in their doctrine also their holly land.

Missing greatpierro 09 October 2013, 10:51

sophia_angle, à la guerre comme à la guerre. Even the French army in Algeria committed crimes. The issue is that HA is being declared as a saint militia to cover its crimes.

yez i agree

they were injuring and killing terrorists and i fully support such things. If assir or shaker die i don't think a lot of sunnies will be sad, in fact the opposite. same thing for his henchman, except they were less known

to perceive everything through a sectarian lense is bad behavior, and he's one of the most sectarian people here following the supposed westernized european benzona

seriously phoenix look at the state today, it is unable to even make a decision to start oil exploration or build a power plant. a word from saudi and the PM resigns, leaving the whole system stalled. in its current condition i wouldnt trust it with our security. what kind of zoo would it be when we need to purchase military equipment? the US would pressure us to not buy anti-air defenses, or long range missiles, do you honestly think they would be able to overcome these kind of pressures?

as a matter of fact, what HA is doing in terms of national defense nobody else can do. until there is an adequate alternative, no one should even dream of disarming the resistance.

Thumb lebanon_first 09 October 2013, 15:53

Mowaten. That you like the HA milicia is your choice. That you choose the term "resistance" to call a milicia. Your choice. That You think M14 stink, you have a point. that You think that Saudi is interfering too much. Fine.

But that you sincerely think that HA are doing a favor to the country, you are light years from reality.

HA invited Israel in 2006, HA kept the Assadists bombing Lebanon since 2005. HA invited Qaeda in 2013, HA's actions scared tourists and investors in 2012. HA wants a perpetual state of war to justify its existence.

Please dont say HA is making us a favor. We are accepting it because we dont want to confront this milicia and do a civil war. ONLY.

Thumb _mowaten_ 09 October 2013, 16:57

stop deluding yourself lf, you think israel wouldnt have attacked if HA wasent here? they would have eaten the country in one bite long ago. stop being such an ungrateful whiner. HA is offering a national defense free of charge for taxpayers, and you whine?
and about the qaeda please dont make me laugh, in 2011 they were already infiltrating arsal, remember when ghosn said “It is our duty as politicians and officials to announce that there is an infiltration by some extremists, including al-Qaeda members, through the borders, and it is our duty not to conceal things.”?
M14 reaction was to accuse him of being "immoral". talk about hiding behind a finger. when qaeda and takfiris started attacking lebanese border villages who did anything to defend them besides HA?
HA's first offensive came in summer 2013, after two years of increasing attacks against lebanon.

Missing peace 09 October 2013, 18:34

sure : supporting hezbi is like supporting israel: both want lebanon to remain weak and divided so they can carry on their businesses!

Thumb _mowaten_ 09 October 2013, 18:36

the cool thing with facts is that they have nothing to do with "beliefs".
israel invaded and occupied lebanon, who fought it? who kicked it out? the lebanese government in the 90s, hijacked by harir, was too busy stealing all the downtown properties from the people to build a fake phantom amusement park for gulfies.

had it not been for HA's commitment and sacrifices, south lebanon would still be occupied, and the zionist gangrene would have most certainly expanded gradually to cover more and more of lebanese territory.

Thumb _mowaten_ 09 October 2013, 18:46

as for the costs, you're ridiculous and unbelievably childish.

Billions in destruction? blame it on israel's attack, not on HA's defense. unless you prefer losing the country and being colonized? there would be even more destruction when the bulldozers come to wipe villages out to build kiboutzs.

ruining our image? what image? the glorious pride of a country that let itself sink into 15 years of civil war? the nobility of providing a whore-playground for saudis when they come in summer?
HA courage and steadfastness gave lebanon the only thing we can be proud of since the 70s.

our economy? same as above with destructions. you either fight or surrender, fighting has a price, but surrendering means losing all.

Thumb _mowaten_ 09 October 2013, 18:46

our stability? lol. when was the last time we were stable? HA can't ruin something you dont have. we lost stability in the 70s, way before HA even existed, and we havent regained since.

our peace and prosperity? same as above.
our youth fleeing the country? if living in lebanon in current conditions is unbearable to them, i kinda doubt they'd last long under israeli occupation.

Thumb _mowaten_ 09 October 2013, 18:47

grow up peace, HA's business is to make Lebanon strong.

Thumb lebanon_first 09 October 2013, 20:14

Mowaten.

You are dismissing the country as inherently unstable, and we cant work together on stability, like if the only way to have stability is to be controlled by a foreign financed milicia.

You are dismissing lebanon's tourism scene as catering to horny gulfies, like if we didn't have an intellectual or an artist scene.

You are dismissing our army and our security agencies as completely moot facing Israel and Qaeda, completely dismissing outright the efforts of the men of our security agencies, and the men of our diplomacy, and completely mistrusting any effort they do.

Your logic is that Lebanon and lebanese as junk while the only worthwhile party as being Hezb Iran. Hence Hezb iran milicia can control this "weakling" that is lebanon.
Sorry. I am not like you. I beleive in Lebanon.

Missing peace 09 October 2013, 20:26

sure mowaten, i won't try to convince you, rather let you live in your delusionnal world made of lies and fantasy. seems you are happy that way... always a pleasure reading your ridiculous attempts to defend the indefendable!

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 October 2013, 14:02

no lebanon_first, i didnt say we are inherently unstable. i said you can't blame HA for the loss of something which we havent had since before it existed. i'm not dismissing anything besides flamecatcher's silly accusations

the reasons are in my opinion very diverse, partly from external factors (aggressive and powerful neighbor(s) for instance) and partly inherent (as lebanese we LET foreigners destabilize us, so we can't shake off our responsibilities on others all the time).

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 October 2013, 14:04

Thumb benzona 09 October 2013, 14:58

Militia? You omitted 'terrorist'.

They have zero legitimacy, no government assigned them the mission to defend Lebanon against Israel nor to defend syria's dictator against the legitimate insurgents. Nobody assigned them the mission to attack sheikh Assir nor to abduct people in Lebanon, Syria, or Israel.

Terrorist militia is an accurate qualification.

Thumb haile.selassie. 09 October 2013, 16:36

well if you want to judge this video its not fair that is because these people deserve to die especially that they have been targeting innocent people and that is why Hizbullah declared war on them and those captured if they would be cured they would go back to what they have been doing. However this step from Hizbullah in Saida is very positive. Also if you're watching a Video on a blog for the 14th and you're judging it thats utter stupidity. Because you should also watch how the same kind of people that have been killed by these Hizbullah people were killing commanders and persons there is a huge difference between shooting someone to the head and cutting their necks and legs and taking out their heart which is something that Hizbullah never does.

anonym something. When you shoot someone in the head in a battle there is no need for justification. But when you cut people into pieces this needs justification. And i will tell you exactly where did these islamist fanatics learn that: From the phalange party in the 70's that introduce savagery in its war on Palestinians hanging each palestinian to one car from a different foot spliting him in two halfs infront of his wife and children. yes this happened on a huge scale. Yes Palestinians were Evil but they didnt do that to a lebanese until the Phalange started doing it. at Least Hizbullah havent done that not to a lebanese nor to a foreigner.

Thumb primesuspect 09 October 2013, 23:50
