Saudi ex-Spy Chief: Lebanon on Brink of Civil War because of Hizbullah Agenda

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Former Saudi intelligence chief Prince Turki al-Faisal has warned that “Lebanon is on the brink of civil war as Hizbullah continues to implement its own agenda without giving any consideration to law and order.”

The party “is willing to risk the foundations on which the entire Lebanese political system was built in order to prevent the collapse of Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime and impede the work of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon that is probing the assassination of former premier Rafik Hariri,” al-Faisal said in a lecture he delivered at the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations in Washington.

“Saudi Arabia believes that the law needs to be imposed in Lebanon and it supports all efforts aimed at putting an end to Hizbullah's intervention in Syria and bringing its leaders who are suspected of being involved in the Hariri murder to court,” the ex-spy chief added, according to the Central News Agency.

You don't need 2 B a genius 2 notice this.... All eyes are on the hizballa, perhaps Saudi Arabia can arm us and the 1 million Syrian refugees in lebanon who lost their homes because of hizballa?

Thumb _mowaten_ 23 October 2013, 19:07

saudi and geagea singing the same song. i guess this means they decided to launch it but are too coward to take responsibility it, so they preemptively place blame on HA for what they are about to do.

"Saudi Arabia believes that the law needs to be imposed in Lebanon"
bi fasher ra2btak ya old senile, you will never again impose anything on us. try something stupid and see how fast your fall will come.

Thumb _mowaten_ 23 October 2013, 19:17

ice-man: if your comments were even remotely witty, smart, relevant, or even just funny, i'd understand you post them 10 times a day like a broken record. but this... it's just beyond me

Thumb geha 23 October 2013, 19:24

what a terrorist you are :)

Thumb _mowaten_ 24 October 2013, 11:12

geha: sorry but saudi is not my country you wahhabe boot licker. if you like having stuff imposed on you by old perverted psychopaths, please go live in riyadh.

Thumb mckinl 24 October 2013, 11:29

Exactly ...

If Lebanon goes into civil war ... and that is a big if ...

It will be the fault of the KSA Not HA ...

It is the KSA that promotes treachery and then blames it on HA.

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 19:53

Sometimes u fight fire w/ fire (I.e australia 2day)

It is a right 2 defend urself if the army isn't doing it. Arming 1 million syrian refugees and 2 million Lebanese against hizballa, will deter the Shiite terroristas. They'll surrender they stockpile 2 the state and finally confess assassinating all M14 leaders.

Thumb chrisrushlau 23 October 2013, 19:59

So Saudi royal state is based on racism? Very interesting.

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 22:51

Did the 1 million Syrian refugees lost their homes because of hizbollah???

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 20:41

Of course, they tipped the balance in favor of the giraff which lead 2 their exile... Wat a shame.

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 20:20

The point isn2 enforce the current laws and have the hizballa terrorist face justice. Of course the point is 2 temporarily arm the oppressed Lebanese. Every weapons should be registered and tracked. And each citizen responsible of his weapon.

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 20:56

Typo error. Well, if HA would face justice 4 its crimes And submit the assassins to the IC of J and lots of other conditions then they'd be salvageable.... But there r lots of conditions.

Thumb _mowaten_ 24 October 2013, 14:50

how did you know tony? i also get 2.0$ for each thumb down, i'm in the special "annoy them to death" squad.

Thumb Roaring-FlameThrower 23 October 2013, 19:06

LOL @ the Saudi Wahabi ex-spy chief:))) Lebanon is in safe hands of the Islamic Secular Resistance aka HA (hussain Army). Your words incite strife and sedition. As long as the resistance exists and 99.99% of the Lebanese people are behind it, your worries are unfounded. The resistance is fighting terrorism and cocaine addicts in Syria. It is protecting Christians and Alawis. It has installed a democracy in Lebanon that you dream of having. It has banned smoking at the Dahiyeh airport and encourages women to drive. It cultivates and nurtures Saints who are worshipped and adored. Please, spare us your wahabi lectures.... tfeh

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 19:35

Yes, the giraff is too coward 2 bomb the Golan.... He askes foreign terrorist 2 do it 4 him. It's all BS, its the end of the despotic era. Get used 2 it.

U r going fast on conclusions on syria i think it will last long and the only losers will be poor people and assad will get ousted at the end (but after what?..)
Second i'm against anyone holding arms but this has been going for to long now, too many leaders have been assassinated, hez and co chose to put and topple governement with arms (or black shirts it depends..) they kill in day light in front of embassies without any legal mesures taken, they "control" the state and act like they were saints... I really wish we wont go there but maybe we need a round 2 16 years of war apparently were not enough...

Thumb primesuspect 23 October 2013, 19:55

Missing imagine_1979 23 October 2013, 19:57

Yes remind me what el assad did, beside spliting palestenians against each others (fateh el intifada, el kiyedeh el 3ameh) besides reducing the lebanese patriotic resistance and leaving instead the islamic one and i can go on and on...

Missing peace 23 October 2013, 20:02

hezbollah would rather create a civil war and bring destruction to lebanon rather than abiding by the state and give their weapons to the army the only state institution made to defend lebanon...

and those supporting them are just traitors....

Missing peace 23 October 2013, 20:04

Inside-man, you ignorant fool- where did you get your education and what gives you he right to pass judgement on this man? On what basis do you consider yourself more intelligent than the people you are criticizing? Before you criticize anyone, do yourself a favor take a class in writing and grammar so that your sentences are complete with the correct punctuation. Did you get educated in Iran? As far as I am concerned, you do not seem to have an education at all-- you speak in broad terms like a teenager that does nothing but insult people. Grow up.

Default-user-icon mazen (Guest) 24 October 2013, 13:07

The Saudis are messing up big time! They need to take a moment, and review their foreign policy. The current state of affairs will do them tremendous damage in the future. They can not keep supporting Terrorists, there are many liberal and moderate forces in the Middle east they can better support instead of those thugs coming from the dark ages. This policy is even driving their US ally away from them. I think that this is the beginning of the collapse of their regime. It is obvious that the current confusion is a result of the inside wrangling between different members of the royal family.

yes FT is full of contradiction ,blinded as he is by his M8 idols...

he is allied with a party that publicly said that they OBEYED to iran which means they obey only one country and not lebanon for that case... that is the meaning of pledging allegiance...
whereas he is mad that M14 is allied with saudis and western countries but he does not see the HUGE difference!! you can change your allies but you are obedient to the country to whom you pledge allegiance...

and then hypocrit FT dare come here and lecture about allies and democracy!!! LOL

have we seen that the saudis changed the lifestyle in lebanon? NO have we seen that iran changed the lifestyle of hezbi shias? YES!!! LOL
