Nasrallah Calls for Dealing with Ghiyyeh Assassination Similarly to Tripoli, Dahieh Bombings

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned on Tuesday the assassination of Islamic Action Front official Saadeddine Ghiyyeh in the northern city of Tripoli, calling for dealing with this case in the same manner the mosques' bombings issue was handled.

"We urge the state to deal with the assassination of Ghiyyeh similarly to its treatment of the Tripoli and (the Beirut neighborhood of) Dahieh's bombings,” Nasrallah said in a speech he gave on the ninth night of Ashura.

The Hizbullah leader considered the killing “an attack against the resistance and its supporters.”

He stated: “This is an indication of the Takfiris' targeting of those with whom they disagree.”

Nasrallah also questioned “some political factions' overlooking of this dangerous incident.”

"This assassination is a dangerous turn of events in Tripoli and could expand to other Lebanese regions,” he warned.

Pro-Syrian regime figure Ghiyyeh was killed on Tuesday after sustaining gunshots wounds to his head when masked men opened fire at him in al-Bahsa in Tripoli.

The state-run National News Agency reported that two men on a motorcycle shot Ghiyyeh, who was in his car, in the head.

For once I agree with The Sayyed.Let us start with all the wanted from his party, then go after that Eid guy and don't forget to round up Mamlook and his boss ASSad and while we figure out who killed this supposed clergy ,you Sayyed can turn yourself in, after all you are the head of all criminals for exception of ASSad.

Shut the hell up... You are nothing but a low life assassin. Terrorists like you need to be hung.

Missing patriot10 12 November 2013, 23:10

i can't believe why he never said anything about finding the killers of hariri or someone else of the m14 leders. he only care for who wan to be t-bagged by basher. he is the only one spreading all this hate in lebanon.

Very funny these comments from the Secretary General of a known terrorist organization.

5 members of Hezbollah have been indicted, based on evidence, for the killing of Rafik Hariri, former Prime Minister. Are we supposed to believe Nasrallah knew nothing of this plot?

This is the man who annointed as "saints" the murderers of Rafic Hariri.

This is the man who is hiding the killers of Hariri, Hawi, and attempted killers of Harb, Chidiac, and Hamadeh.

Who else did they kill?? The murders are unsolved for Pierre Gemayel, Gibrn Tueni, Samir Kassir, Wissam Eid, Wissam al Hassan..... the list goes on.

wat a disgusting terrorist this Nusra-lla. he destroyed lebanon so many times and keeps doing it whilst hiding underground on his golden cage.

Sure, someone kills one of Assad's thugs and Nasrallah jumps up like a jack in the box… “an attack against the resistance and its supporters.”… yeah we all know an attack on any thing pro-Assad is an attack on the Resistance and no mater how many anti Assad leaders are murder that is just fine with you.

The village nimrod and momo look to this Iranian thing as a defender of Lebanon. What a laugh, Nasrallah's equation is simple Ayatollah+Assad regime+Hizbullah=Glorious Axis… nothing ells matters

Thumb general_puppet 13 November 2013, 07:06

Hello mr --.flimflamthrower.--… maybe you should switch to commas instead of periods and dashes, just for a change :-)

"Israel did it" is Nasrallah's favorite pattern of speech, he has made it into an industry.

over 15 assassinations since 2004, some of very honest and capable men, some of Christian men, and this is the rat that Nasrallah draws the line at?

shame, what else can one say... This is the line we Christians should draw and say lets divide the country, we don't want to live with takfiris or iranis. takfiris eat hearts and iranis hang.

It take a couragous decision to save Lebanon, but the problem , the traitors are among us.

Thumb FlameCatcher 13 November 2013, 12:49

Nassrallah : You're in no right to make such demands ! Not until you condemn the tripoli bombing and break your partnership with Bashar el Assad who ordered the tripoli bombing.

So until then, shut up and send your youth to Syria to get butchered.

Ya Hassan, try to read the bible, he who kill will be killed even after a while, not only you who can kill, you start this game . Sorry for the Islamic action man anyway.

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 16:35

your reactions here are really comical. yesterday you guys assumed he was on the takfiri side and started condemning and whining about his loss. benzona repeatedly shed tears at the sight of the blood in the picture of the dead body.

and i was telling you "fyi, that guy was against al qaeda and isil. so dont lament his death too much because once you realize your friends killed him you're going to have a hard time justifying it like you always do"

seems like the instant nasrallah condemned the assassination a million reasons why ghiyeh's death is "not such a big deal" arose.. double-standards is the standard here it seems.

We, the gathered here, reiterate our denunciation for the heinous assassination of the martyr former Premier Rafik Hariri and his companions and compatriots, and express our deepest regret to his family and relatives and say that we all want to unveil the truth.

If the truth is unravelled, it will protect Lebanon and protect Syria because if the truth is unravelled, the biggest weapon for an upheaval will fall and quietude will spread.

We, who stand today in this square, call for dealing with the file of Hariri's martyrdom and assassination away from political bickering, because it is a uniting national case.

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 16:43

We all consider that the family of the martyr former Premier Rafik Hariri and his beloved are no longer a family, or group, or category or movement, but they entered the hearts of all the Lebanese through blood sacrifice and we truly fathom the meaning and value of sacrificing one's blood.

Let us spare this family, and that blood and this cause the bickering; we all want the truth. This demand is undisputed.

sure, but your hezbi friends want the truth that SUITS them... if the evidence go against them they whine it s fabricated! LOL

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 17:57

what evidence? the only evidence there is is that the STL is more of a political tool than an instrument justice

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 17:57

of* justice

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 18:11

LOL you do not even KNOW the evidence they have! no one knows! LOL you work just on pure assumptions...

so your opinion on this matter is just pure hezbi propaganda! LOL

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 18:19

idiot. if you had read the STL's prosecutor's statements, the STL's RPE, and the indictment you would know what i'm talking about, but you obviously havent so keep babbling.

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 18:36

sure mowaten you are such an expert in tribunals and how they function...
evidence is NEVER disclosed before ANY trial but only the day of the trial.... you don't know that? LOL

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 17:53

"double-standards is the standard here it seems."
look who is talking about double standards ! LOL Mr doublestandards himself! wahahaha!

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 17:55

what a powerful point you just made peace. bravo, have a lollipop.

Thumb FlameCatcher 13 November 2013, 18:10

@Peace : it's typical M8 mentality to commit a crime or non-criminal atrocity and then accuse others of doing it.

Their 3 second goldfish memory makes them forget or ignore their own crimes and atrocities.

They are the kings of double standards :

- They support dictatorships and call for democracy
- Lecture on democracy and attack freedom of speech
- Steal and accuse others of stealing
- Block parliament / government for over 18 months and accuse M14 of doing the same now when Hezbollah is doing the blocking !

and the list goes on ...

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 18:12

sure thing FC... M8 is the champ in double standards and as you say facts are here to prove it! LOL

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 18:23

funny, you accuse me (or my side) of doing something and accusing other for it, and i accuse you (and your side) of doing the same things and accusing others for it....

i would have proposed that the accusations be backed by evidence, but i know you'd feel insulted because such things are too far below you. so now what?

Thumb FlameCatcher 13 November 2013, 18:27

@mowaten : accuse M14 of anything you want. Just get it in your little empty head that I'm not M14... you still insist on calling me M14 but this won't make it true.

And if you want evidence ? Bring your gang over to court where evidence is waiting for them ... you can refute them all you want.

Hell, if you have "evidence" against M14, I suggest you take them to court. What stops you ? I will tell you ... your evidence is HAWA or will implicate your own leaders...

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 November 2013, 18:34

lol i'm not surprised you dont shame away from hypocrisy. always attacking m8 and defending m14, but walla, i'm convinced now because you said you're not m14

Thumb FlameCatcher 13 November 2013, 18:42

Where do I defend M14 - ever ? I only defend them when you attack them on issues M8 are also concerned with !

Show me please ...

For me, M14 is the lesser evil in the current political scenario... just like the french voted Chirac to save france from Le Pen ... but both are trash ! I would opt for a 3rd option (not suleiman) if there was one with a strong voice.

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 18:44

it is not FC s fault if the worst mafia belongs to M8.... so sure he keeps accusing M8 but also M14 (oh! by the way so do i!) if you can read properly taking off your binary glasses...

but you mowaten? NEVER self criticism, always here to defend hezbi militiamen, iran and syria...always here to justify the massacres perpetrated by bashar which make you a biased puppet...always here to say the only enemy of lebanon is israel but too blind to see that bashar is also the enemy of lebanon as israel is! always here to defend the closure of the parliament by M8 but not by M14! and the list is long.....

you are just an entertaining joke on this site....

Missing peace 13 November 2013, 18:49

it just proves how their rhetoric work... populist speeches, striking catch phrases that strike weak minded people; always the same way.... like aoun who always accuse others without ever naming them so you can fill in the blanks and say: oh! yes he is right! LOL
