Hizbullah: It is a Sin to Lure International Pressure on Cabinet

Hizbullah’s deputy Executive Council leader, Sheikh Nabil Qaouq, said Sunday that “luring international pressure on the Lebanese cabinet is more than a national sin.”
“It is unfortunate to see that at a time when the cabinet is seeking to confront the Israeli danger, the March 14 forces are luring international pressure to weaken, blackmail and topple the government,” Qaouq said.
He accused the March 14-led opposition of seeking to create tension over its rejection to admit that it became out of power.
“We have blocked the road to American hegemony and we won’t allow it to return,” Qaouq said.
He urged all parties to take a comprehensive national stance from what he called the Israeli piracy and the Jewish state’s attempts to lay its hands on oil and gas fields in Lebanese waters.
“The March 14 forces that didn’t deal with such a national cause when they were in power are asked today to (make) a clear national stance in supporting the new government which wants to defend Lebanon’s right on its oil resources,” Qaouq said.
He slammed the international community for not being concerned with Lebanon’s sovereignty, wondering why it isn’t defending Lebanon’s right to reclaim the Shebaa farms, Kfarshouba hills and the village of Ghajar from Israel.
Also Sunday, Hizbullah MP Mohammed Raad urged all parties participating in the cabinet to cooperate in implementing the policy statement.
He said the government would defend the country’s sovereignty, invest its natural resources, limit the public debt and resume the restructuring of the state.

And as to accusing others of resorting to cause tensions coz they are no longer in power, may the honorable one from Ashraf Al Nass with short memory be reminded who it was that occupied downtown Beirut for 18 months, who raised weapons against fellow lebanese, who made blocking the airport road a "fashion" statement, who stormed the airport runways in their tinted "resisting" 4x4s to welcome and protect a wanted ex general called jamil sayyed against an arrest warrant issued by the same institutions you now claim to protect.... the list goes on Mr. Ashraf Al Nass. BTW, what is a religious man doing in politics? Go ask forgiveness from God maybe he will forgive what you and your sacred resistance have done...!

Maybe I am crazy, but didn't the UN ask Lebanon to obtain from Syria (Your Master) papers relinquishing the farms to Lebanon as they currently fall under Syrian territory occupied in 1967??? your masters in syria refused, did they not?
In all honesty, neither you nor your masters want to liberate the Shabaa farms and it has been just an excuse for you to continue to carry weapons.

Would he just inform us how is he going to reclaim the Shebaa farms, Kfarshouba hills and the village of Ghajar from Israel. We are waiting impatiently for the fulfilment of his wishes. Its why clerics should not be involved in public affairs. They declare the opposition who disagrees with their policies as "sinners". Politics being the art of compromise, especially in Lebanon where everything seems to be done by consensus, how does one compromise with "sinners" and not become a sinner your self or condone sinning.
In America, law is our religion and now when political differences arise, the ones in power criminally prosecute their opponents. It is a breakdown in the political process to mix religion of any kind with politics. Mr. Kaouk should be concerned with his constituency in the next world. Politics is for this one.
And regarding the oil and gas problem and Kaouk's complaint about the past government's dealing with the issue, remember Hezbollah had at all times the power to bring down that government, and when threatened every day with simply holding the government, governing becomes burdened by the threats.
M14 is not so threatening M8, let's see now.

I thought Hizeb.... taught us lessons on how to intimidate people and governments, how to appoint prime ministers, how to renege on every national accord and agreement, how to use their mighty weapons against other lebanese sects, how to confiscate public property and build illegally on it, how to wage wars and but not knowing how to end them, how to destroy our economy by staging 18 months sit-in in beirut, how to burn tires and close roads, how to attack mosques in burj abu haider, how.... how.... how.... many how to's, but i never knew they now have a divine mandate to teach us what is a sin. I thought God almighty alone determines what is a sin and not a meager human, but again I might be wrong.
