Syria Accuses Saboteurs of Train Derailment

A passenger train has derailed and caught fire in central Syria, killing the driver and wounding several passengers, after "saboteurs" tore out part of the tracks, the state-run news agency, SANA, said.

The train with 480 passengers on board was traveling Saturday from the northeastern city of Aleppo to the capital Damascus.

SANA said the saboteurs targeted the train, ripping up a section of the tracks at al-Souda near the central city of Homs. That caused the train to derail and the front carriage to catch fire.

Syria is in the throes of an uprising against President Bashar Assad's rule. Activists say more than 1,600 civilians have died in the government crackdown since the revolt began in mid-March.

The government blames the unrest on terrorists and foreign extremists, not true reform-seekers.

I bet it's the Moukhabarat, and then blaming the demonstrators...
Same as when the Syrian Moukhabarat arranged the kidnapping of the Estonian cyclists, and then wanted to take credit for helping to release them.
Similar in Egypt when the police arranged the bombing of the churches and blamed the Islamist.....

To hell all these regimes

Syria is heading to major chaos..... You think Bashar would see that and walk away before all the mess takes place. What is with the Arab leaders, they can't leave their seats??

President ASSAD will not let these Sunnis fundamentalists terrorists take over power in Syria nor in Lebanon and turn them into a Sunni fanatic Emirate like the ones in the Gulf area , where al qaeda terrorists are hiding , financed and equiped to hit the Christian West and world .

This train does not look like the Japanese bullet train, it looks like it is Markit el Assad. I give the name holder 6 months to be deposed but not before he kills a few thousand more Syrians. He and henchmen do not care they raped Lebanon and broke it.
