Nine RPGs Found in Majdelyoun East of Sidon

Nine unarmed rocket-propelled grenades were found at noon Sunday on the side of the new highway that links the southern city of Sidon to Jezzine, state-run National News Agency reported.

The RPGs were discovered “in the outskirts of the town of Majdelyoun, east of Sidon,” NNA said.

At once, an army force encircled the location as a military expert examined the shells, which were taken to an army barracks in Sidon, the agency added.

Earlier on Sunday, two missiles fired from southern Lebanon exploded in northern Israel, prompting the Israeli military to hit back with artillery shells.
