A Syrian child was sexually assaulted in the southern town of Marjeyoun, and medical examination revealed that his attacker has AIDS.

"A four-year-old refugee was sexually assaulted by a Syrian worker that lives nearby the victim's family and who is an employee working for the boy's father,” An Nahar daily reported on Thursday.

An Nahar said the assaulter was arrested and was medically examined.

The medical report revealed, however, that the man has AIDS.

The newspaper detailed on the incident: “A Lebanese employer noticed a laborer crying at work and after asking about the reasons, he was told that another Syrian employee had sexually assaulted his son.”

Security bodies were informed about the incident and arrested the attacker.

A forensic doctor was called for examining the child and the report confirmed that a sexual assault did take place.

The examination also revealed that the assaulter has AIDS.

The newspaper noted that the forensic doctor was paid for examining the child and the attacker, while the Ministry of Social Affairs and Non-Governmental Organizations that are dedicated to children's well-being, and others that care for refugees' situation did not act on the matter.

I am against the death penalty. But This man should be decapitated. Raping a 4 years child for crying out loud!!!!

Thumb lebanon_first 09 January 2014, 20:32

Or better yet. He should be made to work as a slave for the boy for rest of his life.

I'm with coolmec that this abused child should not be sentenced to seeing his abuser for the rest of his life, but, since now we know that that story about Kim Jung Un's uncle being fed to the dogs is a hoax, I suggest we ship him to South, and not North, Korea, where castration - albeit merely chemical, and not knifely - is the normal punishment for rape. Cruel and unusual punishment has its positive side, after all.

he's already on a death sentence with the HIV. killing him would only shorten the agony. he should be castrated and left to rot in the deepest cell that can be found.

" if he was examined upon entering the country, this tragedy would have been averted."

Yep... the sexual assault would have been averted had the assailant been examined upon entering the country. Makes perfect sense. Allah Yihmeek Ya Rabbb!!!

HIV positive people can't enter lebanon, nor the ones with cancer.... Nor the ones without blue eyes.

Man, these people sound like fascists...

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 January 2014, 16:46

He's in disguise as usual. He usually goes out in the day time dressed as a lady.

Chemical castration is the best remedy!

Border is porous in order for hezbollah to smuggle their weapons and drugs... you can't want a porous border and complain about it at the same time.

Hahaha. I think FT was just iced. FT you've outdone yourself again, can you imagine the logistics and funds needed to medically examine every Syrian refugee entering Lebanon. We can't even shelter these people let alone medically examine them.

u're right, the greater problem is illegal refugees, not a kid raped by a HIV-infested animal, what a sick way of thinking...

slah, I agree with your medical assessment of Flamethrower.

Missing canadianadam 10 January 2014, 08:48

I concur. Mental assessment and medical assessment for flame thrower. Wasn't he one of those people tested in Beirut last year who protested over the medical colon examination? Lol.

Missing someone_somewhere 10 January 2014, 13:05

@flamethrower the issue is the kid being rapped; and any medical test done before admitting people into the country would only solve the second half of the problem (which is the HIV part). I think the real issue we have in Lebanon is that the law is too lax so people are not afraid of the outcome of their actions.
