Israeli army paratroopers held a combat drill in northern Israel near the border with Lebanon in recent days to prepare for the threat of an attack from Hizbullah, the Jerusalem Post reported Tuesday.

The drill saw two Paratroop units respond to a hostile infiltration of Israel through a combat simulation in the Galilee’s Ramim Ridge that ended up in Har Dov, the Israeli daily said.

Surprise developments were built into the exercises, forcing the units to change direction and engage “the enemy” in a variety of ways, it said.

Maj. Natan Gamber, who planned the exercise, told The Jerusalem Post that it represented a new phase in training for units serving under a brigade which maintains security in the upper Galilee and the Hard Dov region.

“We want to prepare all of the forces in the brigade’s sector for all possible scenarios,” said Gamber.

The daily quoted him as saying that the northern border remained stable, though highly sensitive.

“Our role is to be ready at all times. And this is the message we send to the commanders of the units in our brigade,” he said.

Allies will never attack each other although sometimes they might stage some theatricals to justify their existence. Hamas, HA, and the Syrian regime are prime examples. Under the false claim of defending the palesitinian cause and the "umma", these 3 terrorist entities eliminated their political opponents and made peace with their supposed imaginary enemy. They focused their capabilities inwards and exploited their countries wealth, people, and power. In Lebanon we have a fake resistance that has MPs and Ministers in government...LOL.
