Several people were arrested on Saturday in the suburbs of Beirut on charges of opening fire and attacking army troops.

"An army force raided the St. Therese-Hadath region looking for fugitives and managed to arrest Jalal Mohammed Jaafar and Moussa Mohammed Jaafar,” the military institution said in a communique.

The statement clarified that both fugitives are wanted on charges of attacking army troops.

The troops also seized a quantity of hashish, light ammunition, military equipment and a fake identification document during the raid.

And on Friday evening, an army force arrested Sami Ghaleb al-Husseini and Palestinian national Bilal Mohammed al-Saleh in the Haret Hreik area in Beirut's southern suburbs.

They are both wanted on charges of opening fire, the army communique revealed.

The army announced on Thursday the arrest of Mahdi Sobhi Siblani for repeatedly opening fire, and Imad Makkouk for possessing and smuggling illegal substance in Dahieh.

The arrests come as troops are implementing a security plan in the North, the Bekaa and in Beirut, which resulted in the arrest of several dangerous fugitives while other turned themselves in.

Thumb general_puppet 17 May 2014, 20:28

Crusher/momo the "hunting trip" was one of your gems, it is well worth repeating. You know like how you keep repeating that you announced your name change from momo to Crush :-)

Thumb popeye 17 May 2014, 20:33

mowaten; you always make me laugh.......... at you.:)

Thumb general_puppet 17 May 2014, 20:34

Southern how can anything "prejudice the resistance reputation"? They are a designated Terrorist militia in a number of countries on the one hand and on the other hand they are designated as Iran’s line of defense in South Lebanon.

Thumb ice-man 17 May 2014, 21:18

it is so unlike mowaten not to announce his name change publicly. He's been open and forthright about everything. I simply refuse to believe he would resort to cheap and dishonorable practices normally referred to as "multiple" accounts.

Thumb ex-fpm 17 May 2014, 21:39

i hope mowaten amended his "ikhraj qayd" also to reflect the name change:)

@Southern : I thought your terrorists never attacked the army !

You see ? There is no difference between you and Assir ! Both takfiri terrorists !

Thumb general_puppet 17 May 2014, 20:37

Probably wearing a ninja uniform and performing his Jihadist duty for Assad

Thumb FlameCatcher 18 May 2014, 00:37

I thought all Shia were Hezbollah supporters... I denounced Assir before he even created problems in Lebanon habibi...

Now disarm before it's too late !

Thumb FlameCatcher 19 May 2014, 13:02

I denounced him as much as I denounced you.

Meanwhile, you praise Syria attacking Lebanon. You praise Iran claiming our country as their own. You praise Hezbollah terrorism in Lebanon and Syria.

You have no lessons to teach anyone loser !
