Syrian Prostitution Ring Busted in Brummana

The Internal Security Forces apprehended on Saturday the members of a prostitution ring in the Mount Lebanon town of Brummana, all of whom are Syrian nationals.
"The judicial police's Morals Protection Bureau obtained information on the presence of a ring that practices and facilitates prostitution in the Brummana area,” the ISF said in a statement.
At the request of the relevant court, a force of the aforementioned bureau raided the location where the suspects where present and managed to arrest three men and six women, the statement added.
The detainees were identified as J.Kh, 48, F.N., 19, D.T., 29, R.H., 27, N.A., 22, N.S., 22, Kh.D., 25, A.A., 22, and H.Kh, 17.
They are all Syrians, the ISF remarked.
The girls confessed during questioning to practicing prostitution, facilitated by J.Kh., F.N., D.T., and a fourth person who is still on the run. ISF assured that security forces are still trying to detain him.
In the presence of a juvenile detention center delegate, H.Kh. described during interrogation how she came to be a member of the ring.
She said she was engaged to a fellow Syrian back in her country.
"And then he brought her to Lebanon and 'sold her' for $3,000 to another person – whom security forces are trying to capture,” the statement said.
The latter, with the help of J.Kh., confiscated her identity card and forced her into prostitution “without giving the promised amount of money to her fiance,” also according to the statement.
The ISF noted that J.Kh., F.N., D.T., R.H., and N.A are drug users and they were referred to the Anti-Drug Bureau.
The remaining girls were meanwhile acquitted on parole at the request of the relevant court.

Well Karim hate to spoil the party but did you know prostitution is the oldest profession, and if u stop and think for a minute would any girl sell herself like this if she wasnt forced or was desperate to survive finacially. But given we are basically in a war zone , ( the middle east ) every one is fair game. Sad HUH.

Another thing, prostitution exists in the west as it does world wide. Due to the lawlessness of our beloved Lebanon those that take advantage of girls and woman seem to think they are above everybody else. When and if the lebanese cabinet get their act together elect a president that will do justice to a beautiful country that is being taken advantage of left right and center.
