Army troops arrested on Saturday a Syrian national in the Bekaa town of Brital, and seized several cars and ammunition during raids in the area.

"An army force raided the houses of fugitives wanted for their involvement in different types of crimes in Brital, and managed to arrest Syrian national Mohammed Bashir Qarii,” the military institution said in a communique.

Troops also seized six cars, military equipment and a quantity of ammunition.

The statement noted that two of the seized cars were stolen, while the rest did not fulfill the required legal conditions.

"The arrested man and the seized equipment were referred to relevant authorities,” the army said.

Security forces and soldiers have been implementing a security plan in the Bekaa to end the state of chaos in the region.

Troops have so far been successful in the arrest of several fugitives and in seizing many stolen cars.

A similar security plan had also gone into effect in the North and in Beirut.

Awesome, but in a normal country this will be the job of the Police while the army will take care of protecting our borders and eliminating militant groups. Nevertheless, thank you army, good job.

Dude counting the right ballots in Syria is something the Assad family has overcome 50 yrs ago. 98percent of their towns are counted others are destroyed.

Oh forgot to say that the other 2 percent are in Europe or USA for mid to high class and in Lebanon for low class.
