Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun left the hospital on Tuesday after undergoing a successful surgery for breaking his arm last week.

"Aoun is in recovery and will resume his political activities as of Wednesday,” a statement released by the FPM chief's media office assured.

The head of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc thanked in the statement “all those who called him or paid him a visit at the hospital to check on his health.”

Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi telephoned Aoun upon his return home to inquire about his health.

Also among the well-wishers on Tuesday were Health Minister Wael Abou Faour, Lebanese Forces MP George Adwan, Tourism Minister MP Michel Pharaon, Iranian charge d'affaires Mohammed Sadiq al-Fadhli, former minister Wiam Wahhab and former minister Roger Deeb, according to another statement released by Aoun's office.

Aoun was admitted to Serhal hospital that lies near his house in Rabieh on Sunday where he underwent a “small surgery” after fracturing his arm.

Prime Minister Tammam Salam had delegated Environment Minister Mohammed al-Mashnouq to check on the Christian leader's health.

As I stated earlier, too bad it wasn't his neck!

Thumb LEBhasNOhope 19 August 2014, 16:50

General of Generals? talk about setting the bar low.

Thumb LEBhasNOhope 19 August 2014, 17:50

hahahaha the joke of the century! a person that has never set foot in Lebanon claiming with 100% certainty that a certain political group is "the only true Lebanese Christian party". There has to be a sheep gene in your family that gets passed along to the next generation. That is the only explanation I can think of.

Explain to me, please, how is enslaving Lebanon to Syria's Baschar a "legitimate goal"? How is the abandonment of Lebanese "disappeared persons" in Syrian jail by denying their existence a "legitimate goal"? How is supporting mass murder in Syria a "legitimate goal"? How is prolonging the presidential vacuum because it's either his way or no way a "legitimate goal"? It's not bad news for M14ers - it's bad news for the civilized world.

Lebanon needs Aoun like it needs a bullet in the head.

Yalla go worship your Lord and Savior Saint Aoun and while you are at it please pray to him to immediately demand from his allies bringing back all the Lebanese prisoners in Syrians jails. He is the almighty after all and he should be able to perform this miracle no?

Aoun will eventually go lights out.

So will the "doctor" Geagea (syphilis, possibly).

So will Hariri (fat accumulation and stolen dollar abuse).

So will Jumblatt, (chameleon skin syndrome).

So will Nasrallah (lack of proper ventilation).

And so on, and I can't wait.

if 'FAIR' was of this world this megalomaniac that killed thousands of armymen and civilians and fleeing to France would have already be dead of a Syrian soldier's bayonette... he run away and calls himself a man, his followers are so blind they made him a Hero while hes less than a ZERO!
