Two Syrians were arrested in the South on Tuesday for the possession of paraphernalia associated with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, reported the National News Agency.

It said that the army intelligence arrested Amer and Mustafa al-Sahou in the Nmeiriyeh town of al-Nabatiyeh region.

They were transporting in their vehicle ISIL fliers, black headbands, and posters of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the jihadist group's leader.

The army intelligence had been monitoring their activity for some time and the suspects have since been referred to investigation.

They confessed that they had taken the paraphernalia to one of the Palestinian refugee camps located in the South.
