Jumblat Visits Moscow Thursday at Head of PSP Delegation

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat is scheduled to travel to the Russian capital Moscow next week on an official visit, reported al-Joumhouria newspaper on Saturday.

It said that the lawmaker will head to Moscow on Thursday on a three-day visit.

His delegation will include high-ranking members of the PSP, his son Taimur, and Health Minister Wael Abou Faour.

Jumblat's visit will take place a day after a parliament session that will likely be used to extend its own term, media reports said earlier this week.

The session will primarily be aimed at studying draft-laws.
