President Michel Suleiman criticized on Monday media reports that don’t necessarily reflect the actual ties between various political leaders and authorities.

He stressed: “All sides should halt their heated rhetoric over media reports that often lack accuracy.”

“These reports don’t reflect the circumstances of the actual event they are reporting and they consequently negatively impact the internal Lebanese scene,” he warned before his visitors.

“These reports instead reflect their writers’ intentions to create disputes and they should therefore be disregarded in order to maintain Lebanon’s unity and stability,” the president said.

Suleiman held talks on Monday with former Defense Minister Elias Murr.

He also later met with Interior Minister Marwan Charbel to discuss the security situation in Lebanon.

The minister also handed the president a copy of the draft electoral law that the Interior Ministry finalized in September.

dear president: the so called unity and stability does not exist but in your mind.
we note you do not realize that the existence of the weapons of hizbushaitan are destroying our unity and stability.
please stop attacking the media and their reports for what is not their doing.
