Armed forces have arrested a defected Syrian army officer for running a weapons smuggling network in the eastern Bekaa Valley.

In a country where an armed militia boasts it carries 100,000 rockets, crosses the borders freely to wage its own wars, where the rule of the jungle rules it is ironic the armed forces arrest a weapons smuggling ring. Nevertheless, good job and baby steps towards asserting the rule of the law.

While the army is busy putting out small fires (some of which caused by the arsonist HA), HA is readying itself to grab more power and control over Lebanon so it can be a more effective Iranian tool serving the Khameini.
