Samaha Case to Be Separated from Mamlouk's

State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr approved the separation of the case of former Minister Michel Samaha from that of Syrian security official Ali al-Mamlouk, reported the National News Agency on Monday.

He approved the request filed by the permanent Military Court.

The separation of the two files will facilitate holding the trial in the case, explained NNA.

Samaha, who is considered close to the Syrian regime, was arrested in August 2012 for planning attacks in Lebanon along with two Syrian officials.

His trial includes Mamlouk and a Syrian colonel identified only by his first name Adnan.

The trial kicked off in June 2013 but has been adjourned on several occasions for failing to summon Mamlouk and Adnan.

The former minister and the two Syrian officials were indicted for transporting explosives from Syria to Lebanon in an attempt to assassinate Lebanese political and religious leaders.

The Lebanese judiciary sent Syria a formal notification of the warrants and charges, but received no response.

I guess abadeh did not see Qassem Suleimani dancing with his gangsters in Iraq. Perhaps, he does not consider 50,000 foreign fighters (Iranian, Afghani, Hezbollah) as "foreign"....:)

Sad to see the once vibrant FT with his over 5000 posts daily on a slow day sinking deeper and deeper in depression, frustration, despair and catastrophic nervous meltdown, his multiple personality disorder bleeding into this forum multiple IDs. The problem has gotten so critically dangerous he is now signing up to a fresh new ID with every post. He is even incorporating some of the names his alleged father used to call his mom as part of the usernames he chooses. As his treating psychiatrist I am reaching out for you his friends for your support and understanding of his state.

what do you suggest we do to help him?
