Nasrallah, Jumblat Hold Talks on Eve of Druze Leader’s TV Appearance

Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Progressive Socialist Party chief Walid Jumblat held talks on Thursday night in what sources said was a coordinated meeting ahead of the Druze leader’s expected interview with al-Manar.

Hizbullah’s TV station said the two officials discussed the latest developments but a source close to the two parties told al-Liwaa newspaper that the meeting and Jumblat’s TV appearance on Friday night are part of coordinated joint stances.

Hizbullah and the PSP have agreed to steer Lebanon clear of the crises in the region, the source said.

Al-Liwaa quoted informed sources as saying that the Nasrallah-Jumblat meeting would set the stage for improved ties between the PSP chief and the Shiite party.

Relations were lately frigid over Jumblat’s stance from the Arab revolutions, mainly the events in Syria, and his demand for the funding of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon that is set to try ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s suspected assassins.

He either got more threats or more bribes from the bearded thug..... so it will not be a surprise if Jumblat later on tonight says something like this" I opted not to support funding the STL in order to preserve Lebanon's stability and the resistance"

jumblat has found a new way...instead of changing sides, now he's everywhere. like an electron in an atom, it doesn't have a position in time, he is like a energy wave, he is everywhere.

Walid sits rather uncomfortable in that chair, wonder what Hassan just told him. I wanted to place a bet at my local bookmaker that Walid will turn anti-STL later this evening, but he refused to accept the bet as it was "pretty obvious"...

Nassy is trying to hold is grip on power with threats like they do in Syria and Iran. He is probably threatening another gang of black shirts riding to the Chouf, or another attack up the back road. Remember how that turned out?

Jumblatt is a great tactical player (the most shrewd tactician in Lebanon), but he's failing strategically.

He's always having to switch sides to survive. Eventually the game will grow old, his position will become untenable, and Walid will join Kamal.

walid will join kamal because he's freaking old.
time to go to pension.

oh i have seen some filthy zionist information war department trying to say that jumblat is taking order from nasrallah and also there are some mullah involved.

it's always fun to track the zionist information war department halucinations.
too bad i'm not psychiatrist. i would have material to make the title of the professor.
