Nasrallah to Deliver Speech on Tuesday

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is expected to make a televised speech on Tuesday to tackle the latest local and regional developments.

Nasrallah will deliver his speech around 8:30 pm.

His word is expected to focus on the developments in Syria and Yemen, in addition to the local political crisis, in particular the presidential vacuum.

Hizbullah has been recently directing a barrage of criticism at Saudi Arabia over its airstrike campaign targeting Yemen's Shiite Huthi rebels.

The party's officials have warned Riyadh that it would be defeated and would pay a heavy price for its attacks.

The party is also engaged in battles in Syria alongside the forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad against gunmen. Media reports expect a fierce battle between the two sides in the Qalamoun in the upcoming days.

Locally, Nasrallah met recently with his ally Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun. The two officials discussed the presidential vacuum and the terms of high-ranking security officials.

The military posts in Lebanon are suffering as the result of the months-long presidential vacuum in light of the parliament's failure to elect a successor for Michel Suleiman whose tenure ended in May last year. The vacuum threatens the ISF as chief Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Basbous is set to retire in June and army commander Gen. Jean Qahwaji term, which expires at the end of September.

More golden words for the wahabis and phalangists to suffer from.

Ah dear dear Sayed Hassan for owning a TV station and some other media outlets. Ya Sayed, these days, the more you talk, the less you make sense and the less we want to hear you. Trust me, people with brains up there will be watching something else instead of hearing you rant and rant endlessly. What good is it to me if you are NOT a solution provider but a problem creator? So long.

Thumb thepatriot 04 May 2015, 15:12

no... Hezb is not part of the society. They are totally rogue. They wage wars unilaterally...without the consent of the people... they SHOULD be part of the society... but alas, they are NOT!

Thumb thepatriot 04 May 2015, 16:31

I am not talking about Geagea... you said that Hezb were part of the Lebanese society, I explained you why your statement is Wrong.
As for Wahhabis and Zionists... Zionists couldn't care less about us, and neither do Wahhabis who don't try to impose on us a model as Iranians do. They do not ask us to wage wars for them as Iranians do. They are a political, religious, and financial counter balance to Iran in the Middle East. Had we not Hezbzaballa, we would not have Saudi meddling in our affairs either. With no Hezbollah, we would be rid of Saudis and Zionists... your Hebola endangers Lebanon, it does not protect it... it weakens it!

yes FT yes... we are all demented, we belong to an asylum, Bashar is a saint, Aoun a genius, and Hezbollah our saviors... good boy ft, good boy...

Thumb Mystic 04 May 2015, 15:37

How come Israel never fired a bullet towards Nusra and ISIS?

Thumb EagleDawn 04 May 2015, 16:05

Mystic, are you still denying that 4 iranian terrorists of yours were killed in Latikia?

Thumb -phoenix1 04 May 2015, 16:52

Mystic, you said and I quote, "How come Israel never fired a bullet towards Nusra and ISIS?". Unquote. For the decades Israel occupied the Golan Heights, not once has there been any exchange of fire between the state of Israel and the Syrian state, so much so that whenever you asked any Israeli soldier where he or she liked best for a posting, invariably they all said, The Golan. Care to extrapolate ya Mystic khaye?

FT, that was mostly in 1982, when in one day Hafez Al Assad lost over 50 Migs and as many Sam 6 batteries. In fact Sheikh Bachir was personally rescuing Syrian pilots and having them returned back to their command. But you forgot, in 2006, one year plus, after Sayed Hassan made that famous labayka ya Soughya speech of March 8th, where was Syria as Israel was assaulting us day and night? Your history book indeed is missing so many pages, I honestly suggest you start looking for them, a placard, a distant shelf, under the rug, under the pillows? Search, it's worth your time and ours all.
