Al-Rahi Calls for Made-in-Lebanon President

Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi called on politicians Saturday to descend from their thrones and engage in settlements to end the presidential crisis as they are failing a community, a history and a nation.

“Lebanon is passing through delicate circumstances and undergoing decay amid the lingering presidential vacuum,” al-Rahi said during a tour in the northern region of Batroun.

“A decapitated body means death,” al-Rahi said, describing the presidential stalemate.

He called on politicians to assume their responsibilities and elect a new head of state, saying: “You need to have the courage and free will, and posses a sense of responsibility to find a solution for the crisis.”

“We want a made-in-Lebanon president, who is consensual and wise,” al-Rahi considered.

Vacuum striking the presidential post since May last year is having a tough impact on the cabinet and the parliament as the state is threatened with further crises over ongoing rows between the rival parties.

The parliament has failed 23 times to meet the two-thirds quorum required to hold an electoral session.

Let's hope to see soon the white smoke come out of Baabda's chimney.

That would certainly rule out a liar, corrupt, agent, traitor and mentally ill person. All these nice adjectives in the SAME PERSON.

Of course they want the Caporal because he is their dog.

You know Leb08, when talking of puppets, you must turn the other side of the coin where you will find out what Made In Iran puppets look like. You can get fired off with the puppet of puppets Aboul Mish Claoun the M8 Al Capaoun. Then you have Sayed Hassan, the man who believes is a king maker. But the label Made in Iran is losing popularity fast, yesterday your clown Aoun called for another supporter rally, our LF eyes were there to count in all honesty how many were present. At the most there was not more than a few dozens, now, what the heck do you call that? Every puppet has his day, and O, how the mighty fall so badly.

Humble, you've just done a serious injustice to dogs. Dogs are very loyal, they are indeed man's best friend. Aoun in total contrast has no loyalty to anyone, it always starts with him and always ends with him, one day he will dump both Hezbollah and Syria.
