Hizbullah Says Several Jihadists Killed in Attack on IS Gathering Near Arsal

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

An Islamic State official known as Abu Aisha al-Libi and six other IS jihadists were killed on Friday in a Hizbullah attack on the Kherbet Hamam region on the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal, al-Manar TV said.

The jihadists were reportedly plotting to launch an assault on the outskirts of Ras Baalbek.

Hizbullah also destroyed two IS military vehicles, killing several and injuring six jihadists in the attack, including an IS commander known as Abu Akramah al-Zouhouri and another militant known as Ahmed Abdel Mohsen, al-Manar added.

Hizbullah has been on the offensive in Syria's Qalamoun mountains for weeks and has captured territory from al-Qaida's branch in Syria, the Nusra Front. With the Nusra Front almost defeated in the area, a major battle erupted last week between Hizbullah and the IS.

The party is deeply involved in Syria's civil war, fighting alongside President Bashar Assad's forces. The Lebanese group cites fears the Sunni militants will sweep through Shiite and Christian villages in diverse Lebanon as the reason for its involvement in Syria.

The total area of the Qalamoun mountains that is being contested is about 1,000 square kilometers (386 square miles) — of which 340 square kilometers (131 square miles) lie in Lebanon.

War brings more war. This is an axiom of evilness. We have nothing to thank Ebola : they brought the disease, they will deal with it. I am not even interested to know about the outcomes.

Missing humble 19 June 2015, 12:22

Ebola might win all the wars against Nusra and ISIS...but it has lost the biggest war by destroying the National Unity and the living together.

Wlak ya Mystic shou ostak ya akh, this video is a propaganda of Hezbollah. Now about HA keeping Lebanon safe, well bro, you guys started the mess, you clean it up, that simple, but hey, look at my logic for for feeling desperation. Take a good look at Lebanon and see what potential we had and could have used to keep Lebanon Number 1 in the Middle East: We had the Lebanese Forces, the only militia/resistance that stood up to the might of the Syrian army and defeated it many times. We have or had Hezbollah, the only militia/resistance that stood up to Israel and defeated it. We have the Lebanese Army, the only Army so far that has been able to push back and defeat IS. Literally 3 major forces, formidable as they could have been, if only we united. Alas, that doesn't seem to be the case, but we could have tried, then, imagine who could dare touch our Lebanon. My point.

Thumb Mystic 19 June 2015, 13:53

History will remember, how the cowards of the so called Lebanese Forces failed to protect their christian brethren throughout the Middle East, also Jumblat that failed to protect his Druze kin, him and Geagea are the coward leaders of Lebanon.

How beautiful real druze and christians turned to the Resistance, in time of need and in time of War, when their own lords made them outcasts!

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:26

(1). Mystic, first of all than you for the thumb down, you're a real pal. Second, the LF are no cowards like you wish to claim. The LF was a militia, unaided by anyone, we paid in hard cash for everything, unlike your Hezbollah that lives off donations, stipends, charities, taxations, money lending, money-laundering, drugs and narcotics, expired foodstuff, illegal activities, extortion, you name it, and you're doing it. We could not at any time pretend to be in the capacity of defending the Christians of the Middle East, did you forget that it is a Muslim environment that is intolerant just like in your attitudes? We are not subjugated by anyone like in your case were you seemingly have no decision making power but to obey your owners in Tehran and Damascus.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:32

(2). Mystic. We at the LF believe in a cause and it's purely Lebanese. Then Bachir Gemayel had a Christian cause not only for Lebanon but for all the Middle East, for the Christians to live as equal partners everywhere, but lest I forget, your Syrian butcher friends found a way to kill him before he even got into Baabda palace, just as they killed Rafic Hariri and the rest of those who opposed them. Our fight is what kept Lebanon on the map, it us us that prevented people like you to turn it into God knows what republic, as if you were not trying after all. If we can still refer to this land as Lebanon, that's in large part to loyal Christians like the LF and certainly not to lackeys like your Hezbollah who wish to turn it into some Iranistan of some sorts, or other crude Islamic state. You called us cowards, yet the internet is littered with Hezbollah fighters retreating every now and then, even with the might of your owners, you keep calling it, tactical retreat.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:35

(3). Mystic. There is ample evidence of IS fighters having caught HA fighters, and seeing your brave fighters cry like babies for mercy, ah ya brave Islamic fighter ento. You ya Mystic, you seem to intentionally ignore the human element, no human being is so brave but the drugged and brainwashed and mad. History will remember the LF as the bravest of the brave, even with all our mistakes, we are still am lot better than you at HA. I remember pictures of HA fleeing the South ahead of the advancing Israelis, I remember you guys literally kissing the hand of Siniora asking him to bring about the cease-fire, yet when you got it, the same day spoke of Divine Victory

Thumb Mystic 19 June 2015, 14:38

Phoenix, how come you deny that you relied on all the strongest players during the Lebanese conflict. You were so weak that first you begged in the dust for the Syrians to come and save you from the Palestinians, after that the Israelis intervenes and LF joined forces with them instead.

You always covered behind the ones with the biggest muscles, and were only strong when it was against unarmed civilians. Lebanese forces will never gain my respect, neither will you gain the real Christians, that are fighting for their survival this very moment.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:40

(4). Mystic, wlak ayyeh victory? But there is something called dignity, when you don't have it, you can do and say anything, walaw, what must we expect from the people that privilege the sayings, "Al 7abss lal rjeil", or "al haribi tilteyn al roujouleh", or, "al kizb mele7 el rjeil". #an jad 3ayb 3aleyk to speak of bravery, even a rabbit should fight like a Tiger when you have so much weapons, logistics, cash-power and man-power. Show me when your Sayed Hassan was at the battle front, just once? Compare that with Bachir, Amin and Samir. Wlak, you people are talking of hundreds of thousands of missiles, yet even a hilltop is a problem to hold against rag tag terrorists?!!

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:45

(5). Mystic. You've referred to the LAF as poorly armed and poorly trained, yet even if so impaired, they've booted out IS in no time, now when did HA do so alone but with the Syrians, Iranians and Russians to name a few? No ya Mystic, the cowards are like you, fighting your wars hiding in densely civilian populated areas, and when Israel's response comes, inevitably causes major catastrophes, haven't we caught you people several times using this trick, just like Hamas, no? Mystic, your blatant attitude as shown on this forum is what is taking away so much popular support from your Hezbollah, to the point where today only the Shiites and some bribed Christians still believe in you. There is a wide belief and certainly not a new one either, that speaks of the Shiites getting displaced from Lebanon itself, now I am beginning to understand why.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:48

(6). Mystic. Power has gotten into your heads to the point where you no longer act with dignity or nobleness or patriotism, it's all about arrogance, crookedness and illegality, in all impunity. Be you Shiite or Metweleh, it's the same, you've become brain washed to believe that you can create your Wilayet El Faqih, sadly for you people this dream is now gone for good. You keep saying that you care for other minorities, please, spare us the BS, in public this is the image you wish to project, but between yourselves you people remain rigid and radical intolerant Muslims, a Christian is always someone whose properties and belongings are fair sport for you people.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:55

(7). You got greedy slaves like Aoun to buy the Christian street for you, but for as long as LF, Kataeb and other patriotic people remain around, not everyone will be fooled. Now just see how God has brought you people catastrophe after catastrophe. Israel was your favorite whipping boy, now IS has ruined all your hopes, rou7ou nderboh ento wou yehoun. Syria is going, bit by bit. Yemen is ruined now thanks to Saudi's role. Abroad your dirty businesses are being closed down one by one. Your best men are dying for nothing, Qalamoun is won today but tell me about tomorrow if you can?

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 14:56

(8). Mystic, the truth is that you've been a fake and a yellow propagandist since day one in this forum, behind that facade of yours lies a radical Shiite Muslim. I the Phoenix hoped to have in you a sibling, but forget it, you're not even a mirage, you're just a fake. I remain moderate trying to reason with your likes, but deep down I had and still have my suspicions. If you ya Mystic still lives in Lebanon, that's because the LF defended it to remain Lebanese. Next time you wish to call us cowards, just look at your leadership that still lives underground, no wonder they live so long, especially when protected by the assassins who are also your owners.

Thumb Mystic 19 June 2015, 14:57

I believe we care more about the minorities of the Middle East, than you do Phoenix. I know you hate Syria, even more than Israel that is not going to save you, if the takfiris won and arrived. Israel would very much like Lebanon to be overrun with takfiris, so you guys can always leave to the Western nations and let the rest of us take the fight until Judgement day, whilst the Israelis sit on their beaches and looks at the slaughter in neighbouring countries.

Pretty much something you wished you could, but it's not that simple Phoenix, you say you want to rely on the LAF only, but how can they take on these giant takfiri masses? The Resistance are doing it now, and they are the wall between us and the takfiris, behind the Resistance is the LAF that are sitting ducks because of your beloved Msotaqbal party.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:02

MYSTIC, I also now have my proof that you are the one behind the trolls that are plaguing this forum. In just a few minutes we now have @the1verminetexasusa and @liar.phoenix1. Then we have all those massive Thumbs Down on M14 posts, and in so short a time and Thumbs Up for yours. This is indeed a cheap route to take and definitely the hallmarks of losers and intolerant mind and hearts. I remain at peace with myself and trust me, I will never go down the drain like you people are now doing, if for anything, please, save the little that is left of your dignity, if you ever had any.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:10

(8). Mystic, to reply to what you said, quoting you again: Phoenix, how come you deny that you relied on all the strongest players during the Lebanese conflict. You were so weak that first you begged in the dust for the Syrians to come and save you from the Palestinians" unquote. True, in 1975, we were not yet LF, but political parties that had little training and literally no military equipment. True, we were truly vulnerable, the Syrians in their quest for divide and rule and for keeping a status quo between rivals intervened to shore us up and keep the Palestinians in check. Once we found our footing and found out the nature of the Syrian game, we rose up to the challenge and created the LF. You seem to forget about all the Muslim factions that had only one dream, Kill the Infidels. ?!!

Thumb Mystic 19 June 2015, 15:16

How come you pay attention to those likes and unlikes, aren't you supposed to be the mature one here?
I tell you directly what I have on my mind, I don't need other profiles to do it, that is evident in the words I'm writing to you now.

You can keep on dreaming forever about Hezbs demise Phoenix, and I can guarantee you, if your dream came true, it would later become a nightmare for you, if Mostaqbalis takfiri allies took over.
You should be more worried about the present and future, not be stuck in the past.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:19

(9). Mystic, You said, "I believe we care more about the minorities of the Middle East, than you do Phoenix" unquote. No Mystic you don't. Rather, you need us reflecting the words of Frangieh who some years ago made wisdom of minorities uniting. Frangieh was smart to say so, because in Syria there was no war yet. The war in Syria has proven one thing, that the Arab is sectarian to the bone-marrow, his religion comes first, his country last. I have seen posters of your Hezbollah throwing down Lebanese flags and putting up Hezbollah yellow flags, what does that say? Right now, your militia is in deep trouble, so are your Syrian and Iranian owners, common sense says that minorities bond together.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:20

(10) Mystic. To be honest, we Christians and your Metwelehs lived for centuries side by side, in total peace, we even married from each other, till two militias came about, Amal, then Hezbollah, both have screwed up most heads in your community, no wonder so many of you are doing dirty businesses for so long, your principles have gone down, and so did your fortunes.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:32

Mystic, about my paying attention to those thumbs down and up, trust me I am mature, certainly a lot more than many in this forum, even a blind person notices them. But because I still consider you as my brother, when I see you engage in such lowly behaviors, I do get embarrassed for your sake, then it is childish, thus my maturity does harbor apprehension when I also see an adult like you go down that way. At least give me reason enough that I am still debating a person of my stature, and not a college dropout, please, we're here to bridge gaps, not to jump like zoo chimps. Love you bro.

Thumb -phoenix1 19 June 2015, 15:38

Mystic, quoting you again, : "it would later become a nightmare for you, if Mostaqbalis takfiri allies took over.
You should be more worried about the present and future, not be stuck in the past", unquote. Mystic, I am not worried about the future of Lebanon, I am more worried for Hezbollah to whom I repeat I hold no evil and to whom I gloat not when a fighter of its is gone. Do you know where I was yesterday? I was in my native Jezzin, and I was buying land around the South, and you know why? Because Lebanon is about to enter an era of unprecedented prosperity and a huge boom in business. Though things look grey and morose today, not long form now, Lebanon will boom like never before. So invest your money inside your country too, which is what I am doing. Now stop worrying will you?

Resistance? Which resistance? The one which assassinated National Unity?

Missing humble 19 June 2015, 12:39

Ebola has destroyed National Unity ON PURPOSE. It wants to divide the whole region into smaller religious entities.

Israel and Iran work hand in hand to divide the whole region into "minority religious states" : Kurds, Alawites, Druze, Shiites, Jews, and Christians. These "minority states" will then ally against the "Sunnis" who will be in a divided Saudi Arabia between Najdis and Hijjazis.
Since Israel cannot appear as the leader of this plot; that is why it has been entrusted to Iran.
