Lebanese Man Dies in Self-immolation

A Lebanese man died on Thursday after setting himself on fire in Beirut's southern suburbs, the state-run National News Agency reported.
NNA said Ahmed Mohammed Issa, 22, went to the roof of his house that lies in the area of al-Ramel al-Ali and sprayed himself with flammable material.
Issa then set himself alight and died on the spot, the agency added.
NNA did not mention the reason behind his act.
But MTV said Issa is a drug addict.
He self-immolated after taking drugs and jumped from the roof of the four-storey building, it added.

What a loss and so young. This tragedy is another proof that such people are rarely given the kind of medical assistance they need so much, all this thanks to a very corrupt system that has been in place for too long. Rest in peace young man, gone too soon.
